  *                 fetch with thousands of errors collected in  *
  *                 the SQL diagnostic area.                     *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABND04E RC00E70005 at DSNXGRDS.DSNXEFDA *
  *                      M152 may occur for non-atomic multi-row *
  *                      insert/merge or rowset fetch with       *
  *                      thousands of errors collected in        *
  *                      the SQL diagnostic area.                *

  * RECOMMENDATION: When there are thousands of errors/warnings  *
  *                 occur for non-atomic multi-row insert/merge  *
  *                 or rowset fetch, SQL diagnostic area may run *
  *                 out of storage while writing the summary     *
  *                 condition.  The DB2 code is changed to       *
  *                 prevent this to happen by recording one less *
  *                 error/ warning condition before the summary  *
  *                 condition.                                   *

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code has been corrected to record one less error
  condition in get diagnostic area to prevent the abend
  when the SQL diagnostic area is close to full.
