Error description

• In Rational Developer for System z - RDz - v9.5.0 Endevor
  enhanced edit, save
  gets disabled after having cancel the operation on the
  Add/Update dialog.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  
  1- On CARMA repositories view, right-click on a COBOL program
  and
  select Edit with > COBOL Editor
  2- Modify the program and save it
  3- Add/Update dialog appears: Click cancel
  4- COBOL Editor is not dirty anymore (no * on the tab) and Save
  icon is
  disabled
  

Local fix

• - CTRL-Z or context menu "Undo typing" will undo the last update
  but also
  enable again the Save icon.
  Changes can be recovered from the local history files through
  context menu
  either Team > Show local history
  or Compare with > Local history
  or Replace with > Local history
  

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• The IBM RDz Endevor integration code has been updated to revert
  the editor state back to unsaved when the user cancels the
  repository update in the dialog.
  
  The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
  IBM Rational Developer for z Systems V9.5.1.2 Fix Pack which
  is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
