Error description

  • On Windows 7 run the command 'ccm set_password' to store an
    encrypted password for starting Rational Synergy
    
    Expected result:  The password stored in the .ccmrc encrypted
    file, which is located in the user's home directory.
    
    Actual result:  This may fail and return the following error:
    Enter your default password:
    java.security.InvalidKeyException: Invalid AES key length: 8
    bytes

    The problem can arise when there is already a password file
    (.ccmrc) which was created by an older version of Rational
    Synergy. The fix will provide a better error message which will
    user to resolve the issue
