APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When there are 2 COBOL enabled BOM, and a class in one BOM
references a class in another BOM, this defect will occur, the
generated marshallers for the 2 classes will conflict.

Local fix

  • As a workaroud, for the customer's projects, we can combine the
 2 classes from separate BOMs into the same BOM, then generate
a single COBOL copybook that contains 2 level 1 items. This
will ensure the marshaller is correct.

Problem summary

  • BOM cross references are not handled properly in the bom editor
