Error description
In RDz v9.0.1 the following scenario has incorrect behavior. - open a Cobol file using the z Systems LPEX Editor. - on command line, enter NUM COB - on sequence numbers changed in cols 1-6, but the file is not marked changed (no * in the file name) - exit and reopen the file. - the sequence numbers are not there Workaround: Make another change so that the file is marked dirty, before saving. Problem summary
NUM COB command does not set the file as dirty.
Problem conclusion
The NUM COB command now marks the editor as dirty so the file can be saved after the insertion of sequence numbers. The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.0.1.5 Fix Pack which is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page: http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=2294&uid=swg27006335
