    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
If a WS-ReliableMessaging sequence needs to be reallocated,
the sequence state may not allow the reallocation to occur
successfully. In such a case the WS-RM component may
incorrectly delete the messages on the sequence and an
application server restart would also cause the sequence
    itself to be deleted.

Problem conclusion

  • The WS-RM component was modified so that a reallocation
failure does not cause any application message data to be
deleted from the failed sequence and recovery of the failed
sequence on application server restart no longer attempts to
    delete it.

Sequence reallocation usually occurs when the provider side
runtime has decided to timeout and delete the sequence. In
some environments sequence timeout is not desired. To provide
for such a case the WS-ReliableMessaging component can now be
configured to disable sequence inactivity timeout by setting
    the JVM system property
    "com.ibm.websphere.wsrm.disableInactivityTimeout" to a value
    of "true".

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.15, 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.8. Please
