Error description

• Message DSNT602I NO SPACES FOUND is defined as type DATA,
  intermediate WTO line. The previous messages line is
  terminated with DATA END. A multi line WTO should start
  with type LABEL. This is causing ABEND04E RSN00F9000C.

  * USERS AFFECTED: All DB2 for z/OS administrators, executing   *
  *                 a DISPLAY DATABASE command, generating more  *
  *                 than 255 lines of output.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In rare occasions, the DISPLAY DATABASE *
  *                      command might cause an ABEND when       *
  *                      trying to generate a continuation       *
  *                      message if the output is longer than    *
  *                      255 lines.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  If the output, generated by a DISPLAY DATABASE command is
  exceeding 255 lines, a DSNT390I continuation message is issued
  before further output lines are appended. In rare occasions,
  this continuation message is placed in a message flow where the
  message type is not expected, causing an ABEND.
  

Problem conclusion

• This fix ensures that the correct message types are generated,
  therefore only valid message flows are returned and no ABENDs
  are triggered.
