• A REORG TABLESPACE SHRLEVEL CHANGE abended with a 00C90101
  DSNKTRAV:501C error during the LOG phase.  Multiple DSNI014I
  messages are also is issued.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: REORG TABLESPACE SHRLEVEL CHANGE PART   *
  *                      on a partitioned table space, with a    *
  *                      nonpartitioned index, abended with an   *
  *                      ABEND04E RC00C90101 at DSNKTRAV:501C.   *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *
  ****************************************************************
  A part level REORG TABLESPACE SHRLEVEL CHANGE on a partitioned
  table space with a nonpartitioning index (NPI), ran concurrently
  with SQL INSERTs.
  The REORG abended with an ABEND04E RC00C90101 at DSNKTRAV
  ERQUAL501C during the LOG apply phase.
  This problem occurs when multiple tasks accessing the index
  during the LOG apply phase are not serialized properly.
  The problem can also happen for table space level REORG
  SHRLEVEL CHANGE, with an NPI and concurrent INSERT's.
  

Problem conclusion

• REORG code has been modified to serialize the multiple threads
  of the LOG phase accessing the same index page.
