    ****************************************************************
There is a CICS region which has many IPIC connections to other
CICS regions. A connection error is detected and CISE is resumed
to handle that. A flag will be turned off once CISE gets control
and starts to run. This flag is used for CISR to decide whether
CISE should be resumed when there is a conversation error.
As the CICS region is currently under stress, CISE doesn't get
control to run for a while.

In this time slot, a conversation error is detected and CISE is
resumed for the second time, as the flag which should have been
turned off is still on. Now the suspend token is in resumed
status. Then CISE starts to run, it detaches the error chains
for error handling, therefore the ISSS error queue is empty.
Then another connection error is detected, CISR resumes CISE for
the third time as the ISSS error queue is empty. Because the
suspend token is already in resumed status, the resume operation
fails with exception already resumed. This causes a DFHDS0002
error message with a system dump.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHISRR has been changed to make sure there is no DFHDS0002
error message and system dump if a resume is issued when the
corresponding Suspend Token is already in resumed status.
