Error description

• HTTPS connections fail that previously worked with 8.6 versions
  of the product.
  
  The error seen in IBM Rational Integration Tester (RIT) is:
  
  java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
  
  WORKAROUND:
  Revert to earlier version of RIT.

  * Upgrade to Rational Integration Tester v8.7.1..1 which       *
  * includes a fix for this issue                                *

  Tests using the HTTP transport send a 'Host' header in the
  request message that includes the port configured in the
  physical resource. If you do not want the port to be sent, clear
  the port field in the Physical view manually; in this case, the
  transport will connect to the default ports for HTTP or HTTPS
  (80 and 443 respectively).
  

Problem conclusion

• A fix for this issue was provided in version 8.7.1.1 of Rational
  Integration Tester.
