PI49454: CANCELING VERSION IMPORT DOES NOT CAUSE NEXT VERSION IMPORT TO BE STARTED

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you cancel a version import is cancelled, the next version
    import on
    that agent will not be started. The import will stay in the
    waiting
    state. Because automatic imports are not queued when an existing
    import is in the waiting state, this may stop automatic imports.
    This problem occurs intermittently. You will see a deadlock
    error
    in the logs when it occurs.
    

Local fix

  • Retry by cancelling one of the waiting version imports for that
    agent.
