APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE :
1) Setup RIT integration to Jenkins
2) Create Ant script (or you can simply generate your Ant script
from RIT GUI) against a test script and make sure to enable
JUnit reporting
3) Run your Ant script through Jenkins integration to RIT

EXPECTED RESULTS :
JUnit report generated for each of the Ant script execution

ACTUAL RESULTS :
No JUnit report gets generated for Ant scripts running test
cases

Local fix

  • Workaround for now is to run test suites through your Ant script
rather than test cases.

* attempting to create JUnit results from tests run via Ant.   *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* When running test sequences via an Ant script, JUnit tests   *
* were not created even if the configuration to create them    *
* was correctly set.                                           *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
* Update to version 8.7.1.1 or newer of IBM Rational           *
* Integration Tester to resolve this problem.                  *
****************************************************************

Problem conclusion

  • Version 8.7.1.1 of IBM Rational Integration Tester contains the
fix for this problem.
