Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: All users of CICS TG on UNIX platforms. **************************************************************** PROBLEM SUMMARY: If a client application process starts with process ID 47, the generated message queue key matches the key that is allocated for the Client daemon. This causes the reported error messages and applications are no longer able to communicate with the Client daemon. ****************************************************************
Problem conclusion
CICS TG has been changed so that the message queue key that is generated for the Client daemon will not be the same as a key that is generated for an application process, regardless of the application process ID.
