When we load the current LDSD, we only load the first half part,
so 0 in this case

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND0C4 RC38 at DSNJW009 was received  *
*                      during DB2 restart.                     *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
During DB2 restart, if DB2 detected that the highest written
RBA recorded in the Bootstrap data sets (BSDS) is higher than
the highest RBA found in the log data sets, DB2 will attempt
to correct this inconsistency.

On this corrective code path, an incorrectly defined field
resulted in DB2 using an invalid value as a pointer variable,
which caused ABEND0C4 RC38 in DSNJW009 on subsequent access and
DB2 restart failed.

Problem conclusion

  • DB2 has been changed to correctly define the field.
