PI46798: APPLYING A SCHEMA WITH IGNORE NAMESPACE IN THE STUB CREATION WIZARD LOSES THE MESSAGE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The problem occurs when creating a stub from recorded events
  using the "Create Parameterized Stub" option.  If you choose to
  ignore the namespace after applying a schema to the message, the
  stub request message will be empty.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Record some messages.
  2. Select the messages and save as parameterized stub.
  3. On the Operation Assignment page apply a schema to the top of
  the message.
  4. On the column mapping page select the namespaces and set to
  "ignored".
  5. Complete the stub creation wizard.
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  
  Stub message should match the recorded content and schema
  selected.
  
  ACTUAL RESULTS:
  
  The message is empty with no schema applied.

Problem conclusion

• A fix for this issue was provided in version 8.7.0.3 of Rational
