  • Remote BIND PACKAGE with APREUSE/APCOMPARE successful (RC=0) but
no package produced after ALTER TABLE ADD VERSIONING of one of
the tables referenced by the package.

*                      APCOMPARE(WARN) runs successfully.      *
*                      However, no package is produced.        *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

Remote BIND PACKAGE with APREUSE or APCOMPARE(WARN) runs
successfully. However, no package is produced. The bind server
is DB2.

The root cause is DB2 incorrectly skipped generating the package
in certain warning cases.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • DB2 code has been modified to generate the package when a
warning occurs during remote bind package processing.
