Problem summary

    * USERS AFFECTED: All DB2 10 for z/OS and DB2 11 for z/OS      *
    * utility users of LOAD REPLACE with a LOB *
    * column defined as NOT LOGGED *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: LOAD REPLACE of a table with a NOT *
    * LOGGED LOB column in the Auxiliary *
    * Warning ( AUXW ) state does not reset *
    * that state on either the LOB table *
    * space or the base table space *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available *
    ****************************************************************
LOAD REPLACE was run on a table with a LOB column. The LOB
table space had been defined as NOT LOGGED and had previously
been placed into the AUXW state. The LOAD REPLACE did not reset
this state even though the LOB table space had been reset.

This could also occur for LOAD INTO TABLE PART n REPLACE.

Problem conclusion

  • LOAD code has been changed to reset the AUXW status of the LOB
table space, the base table space, and/or the partition after
    having been reset.

Temporary fix
