  *                      stopping, abend 32E reason 00000324 may *
  *                      be produced by CSQXJST.                 *

  While the channel initiator is stopping, the job step task
  (CSQXJST) attempts to cancel the timer services task. However if
  the timer service is setting up a new timer during this time,
  when a STIMERM is being cancelled by the stop processing, it may
  attempt to set it with null XTSC. With this incorrect value, the
  abend 32E-00000324 will be produced.
  

Problem conclusion

• Synchronisation between the job step task and the timer services
  task has been improved during CHINIT shutdown. This prevents the
  scenario which causes this abend during shutdown.
