Error description

  • In RDz v9.1.1 if a PL/I program contains embedded CICS language
    statements and those statements contain reference to an array
    element, it is not parsed correctly and the editor is unable to
    handle
    variable references. For example pressing PF3 after selecting a
    variable may not show the declaration of that variable.

    For example:
      EXEC CICS

              FREEMAIN

              DATAPOINTER (MQDatHnt(I).DataPtr)

              NOHANDLE;
      END EXEC.

    This is a valid statement, but it causes the PL/I editor to show
    variable references incorrectly.

Local fix

Problem summary

    host references correctly.

Problem conclusion
