PI43150: REPORT WITH DQM FAILS WITH 'QE-DEF-0285 THE LOGON FAILED.' WHEN A PACKAGE FOLDER HAS OBJECT SECURITY DEFINED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Package has Execute and Traverse permissions.  The report
  fails with:
  
  QE-DEF-0285 The logon failed.  QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for
  the following reason:  RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at
  least one database during a multi-database attach to 1
  database(s) in:   [ Data Source Name ]   UDA-SQL-0432 Unable to
  locate the gateway "cogudajdbc".
  

Local fix

• As a work around, in Cognos Connection, change the Package
  Folder to incorporate Read permission.
  
  The error does not occur with CQM.
