PI42178: NEED WTO MESSAGE OR/AND KERNDUMP WHEN IPT IS WOKEN UP DUE TO A SIGNAL

Error description

• This apar is to create a WTO message and perhaps take a
  KERNDUMP when the IPT is woken up due to a signal. This would
  signify to operators that SSL functionality is no longer
  available and they could recycle the CICS region potentially
  before it gets hung. The region would almost certainly need to
  be cancelled.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend 0C4 in DFHLEPTQ and CICS region   *
  *                      becomes unresponsive.                   *
  ****************************************************************

  CICS is running SSL processing and an unexpected abend
  occurs on one of the S8 TCBs which results in an abend on the
  initial pthread TCB for SSL. CICS has no recovery environment
  to intercept the  abend of this TCB so no diagnostic message
  or dump information is produced.
  

Problem conclusion

• DFHLEPTD has been changed to detect if a SIGCNCL is issued
  against the initial pthread TCB. A new message DFHAP1700 is
  issued to report the error. DFHLEPTD will then take a system
  dump with dump code KERNDUMP. CICS must be restarted to
  restore SSL functionality.
  
  The CICS Transaction Server for z/OS Version 5 Release 2
  CICS Messages and Codes Vol 1 ( GC34728300 ) will be updated.
  In Chapter 4, new message DFHAP1700 will be added as follows:-
  
  DFHAP1700 APPLID An unexpected abend has occurred. CICS is
            unable to process any futher SSL requests.
  
  EXPLANATION:  An unexpected signal, most likely a SIGCNCL
  signal, was received by the IPT TCB used for SSL processing.
  CICS is unable to handle any further SSL requests.
  
  SYSTEM ACTION:  CICS attempts to take a system dump with
  dumpcode KERNDUMP.
  
  USER RESPONSE:  Restart CICS.
  
  NOTE:  This message cannot be changed with the message
  editing utility.
