Error description

• If overriding the showSpalshScreen method in iOS, this would
  override internal code that in turn could cause the Cordova
  WebView to not display. Internal code was changed so that
  external modifications will not interrupt it.

Problem conclusion

• We made our code check to "tollerate" not having run the
  initialization code in our showSplashScreen code.
