PI39841: FAILED TO READ THE HTTP RESPONSE WHEN EXECUTING WL.CLIENT.INVOKEHTTP METHOD

Error description

  • When issuing a request from an adapter to a back-end using
    WL.Server.invokeHttp method, and the backend responds with
    GZIP and an empty payload (content-length:0) then the following
    exception occurs:

    * first 2 bytes (which in this case, does not exist).          *

Problem conclusion

  • The Worklight/MobileFirst Platform server core code was modified
    to work around the issue
