APAR status

Error description

  • The following error occurs when using Ant script to build a
native API application:

FWLST2021E: Mandatory platformVersion parameter is missing from
application-descriptor.xml

The platformVersion parameter is set in
application-descriptor.xml with 6.1.0.01.20140821-0406.

Replacing the '-' with '.' resolves the issue.

The platformVersion parameter should accept the '-' character.

Local fix

  • Replace the '-' with '.' in the platformVersion parameter

* of platform. There was a defect parsing that version number. *
