Error description

  • When the IBM Rational License Key Server Administration and
Reporting Tool switches the license server debug log to a new
one, the agent may not not immediately follow the switch to the
new log file. In some cases this may lead to the new new log
being switched to still another log after an hour.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* RLKS Administration Agent may roll over to a new log file    *
* when the current log file has not yet reached its configured *
* rotation size. Due to this issue, you may see multiple       *
* ibmratl_<timestamp> files being created in a day by the      *
* agent.                                                       *
