APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When specifying JSON object(s) as the "arguments" parameter
  value to the "mfp adapter call" command, an "Unexpected token"
  syntax error is displayed.  For example, an "Unexpected token %"
  syntax error will result when specifying the JSON object
  {"a":"b"} as the "arguments" parameter value.
  

Local fix

• Specify the JSON Object parameters, providing a String, Number,
  Boolean or
  Array of Strings, Numbers, Booleans, and/or sub-Arrays.  For
  example, instead of specifying {"a":"b"}, specify ["a", "b"].

Problem conclusion

• The code was changed to URL-encode the arguments value after the
