  When compiling an EVALUATE statement with a function that has a
  reference-modified argument as an EVALUATE subject, the compiler
  freed a temporary used for reference modification at the first
  WHEN clause then tried to reference that temporary.
  

Problem conclusion

• The compiler was modified to delete all temporaries that are
  used as part of an EVALUATE statement subject at the end of the
  EVALUATE statement rather than in the middle of the statement.
