PI35709: CPU-SYSPLEX PARALLEL QUERY REQUIRES A WORKFILE SORT, WHICH ABENDS 00C90101 IN DSNILRBK ERQUAL5009 AFTER A SOFT CANCEL

Error description

• A CPU SYSPLEX parallel query with 16 degrees, where 8 of them
  are running in the parent's local DB2 system requires workfile
  resources, but have a soft cancel is received involving an
  ABEND04E RC00E50013 in DSNTTRUN, then during cleanup since we're
  in the ABORT path, an ABEND 04E RC00C90101 is seen in DSNILRBK
  with ERQUAL 5009, since we're trying to free the associated
  workfile PSFIREC block for a workfile with obid x'03EB', but the
  PSFIREC does not exist.

  For CPU-SYSPLEX Parallel query, if it's running in a Data
  Sharing Environment, the parent task will use each workfile
  coming from remote child task to generate a remote cross-CPC
  workfile. Under this sysplex condition, the remote cross-CPC
  workfile will have a 'fake' Object Descriptor (OBDREC) instead
  of the actual one. So deleting the internal control block
  PSFIREC of this remote workfile will cause the reported abend.
  

Problem conclusion

• DB2 is changed to avoid deleting the PSFIREC of this type of
  workfile.
