APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An App Center client on a Windows tablet works until a third
  party VPN client is installed.  At that point, an error is seen
  in the server output:
  
  FWLAC0305W: model cannot be changed from [one device type] to
  [a different device type]
  
  When the VPN client in uninstalled, the App Center client will
  work again.
  

Local fix

• The only work around is to uninstall the VPN client.

Problem conclusion

• The calculation of device IDs has been changed. Device IDs are
  now unique, even if a VPN client is installed on the device.
