APAR status

  • Closed as documentation error.

Error description

  • Current Note in comments of dmh_httpd.conf file supplied as a
sample doesn't mention possibility of a Pass statement
preceding the Exec statement for RAA, which causes the wrong
web path to be used when scanning remote z/OS assets.

Local fix

  • put RAA-related statements before other statements that would
    match the same web path.

Problem summary

  • Note in comments of dmh_httpd.conf supplied with z/OS scanning
code wasn't specific enough about placement of RAA-related
statements in relation to other possible statements.

Problem conclusion

  • Note was changed to read:
The Exec directive should be added to the Mapping
Rules section of the httpd.conf file, and it must appear before
any other Pass or Exec statement that would match the same web
    path.

Temporary fix
