Error description

  • Purge performance is extremely slow if there are huge number of
    completed & archived jobs are on queue.

    In v8, purge engine updates bf_step_clones table by below  SQL;

    UPDATE bf_step_clones SET bf_elseinline_id=null WHERE
    bf_elseinline_id=:1

    But, it does not have correct WHERE clause and it update records
    in bf_step_clones table. In the customer site, there more
    3,000,000 records and every purge updates all the records and it
    consumes huge system resource.
    Purge job may update bf_project_clones table as well and it
    needs to correct SQLs that update the tables.

    It's quite urgent and need hot fix because purge jobs are
    running during working time and compete resource with normal
    build jobs.
