PI33533: REORG ENDS WITH 00C90101 IN DSNIDBIN WITH ERQUAL5005. INSTALL / MIGRATE CASE.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• REORG in DSNTIJEN ends with 00C90101 in DSNIDBIN with
  ERQUAL5005.
  Customer had altered REORG in DSNTIJEN to use the incorrect
  SHRLEVEL in an INSTALL / MIGRATE case.
  

Local fix

• Do NOT alter generated REORG parameters in DSNTIJEN.  Follow
  directions in DB2 INSTALLATION AND
   MIGRATION documentation.

  The ABEND04E RC00C90101 in DSNIDBIN ERQUAL5005 happened during
  DSNTIJEN job REORG processing because the REORG SHRLEVEL
  keyword parameter was modified to a value that is incompatible
  with ENFM REORG processing.
  
  ENFM processing REORGs in the DSNTIJEN job (noted by the
  CONVERTV10 or CONVERTV11 keywords) require specific SHRLEVEL
  values for processing. If the SHRLEVEL keyword value is changed
  to an incompatible value then the ENFM processing REORGs will
  fail unpredictably.

Problem conclusion

• DB2 code has been changed so that an incompatible REORG SHRLEVEL
  keyword value cannot be specified for an ENFM REORG (job
  DSNTIJEN with the CONVERTV10 or CONVERTV11 keyword).
  
  If an invalid ENFM REORG SHRLEVEL value is now specified then
  message DSNU071I will be issued and the DSNTIJEN job will stop
  with RC=8. The SHRLEVEL value noted in MSGDSNU071I will indicate
  the required SHRLEVEL value for the ENFM REORG being attempted.
  
  In DB2 10 for z/OS all of the DSNTIJEN ENFM REORGs are
  'SHRLEVEL REFERENCE'. In DB2 11 for z/OS there are three
  DSNTIJEN ENFMs that are 'SHRLEVEL REFERENCE' (SYSCOPY, SYSRTSTS,
  and SYSSTR) and three that are 'SHRLEVEL CHANGE' (SYSLGRNX,
  SYSTSIXS, and SYSTSTAB).
  
  Here are a couple examples of the DSNU071I messages that might
  be displayed if an invalid SHRLEVEL value is encountered in the
  DSNTIJEN job during ENFM processing:
