PI33518: UNLOAD FROMCOPY FAILING WITH MSGDSNU1408I AFTER THE OBJECT WAS COPIED WITH DSN1COPY OBIDXLAT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is moving a PBG tablespace from one subsystem to
  another via DSN1COPY.
  Then they take a full image copy of the target tablespace and
  run UNLOAD FROMCOPY using this copy dataset.
  The UNLOAD fails with:
  DSNU1408I   343 14:52:11.79 DSNUUNLD - SOURCE DATA SET
  ITGP0600 DOES NOT MATCH TABLESPACE DTGP.STGP0600
  .
  The problem happens when the obid of the table changes
  and DSN1COPY does not update HPGROID.

  A DSN1COPY utility with OBIDXLAT was used to move a PBG table
  space from one subsystem to another. HPGROID in header page was
  not set to target OBID in target table space, which resulted in
  UNLOAD FROMCOPY against the copy of the target table space
  failing with message dsnu1408I -  SOURCE DATA SET xxxxxxxx DOES
  NOT MATCH TABLESPACE yyyyyyyy and no records were unloaded.
  

Problem conclusion

• The DSN1COPY code has been modified to set HPGROID to target
  OBID.
