Problem summary
USERS AFFECTED: COBOL for AIX users who are attempting to sort/merge a large SFS file might be affected by this issue. PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SORT would fail with a 'shm exhausted' error. A variable used to determine the memory required was not properly re-initialized when needed.
Problem conclusion
The issue is now resolved by properly re-initializing the variable when needed.
