Error description

• In IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA), if you attempt to copy
  and paste cells from a Microsoft excel document into the
  documentation field of an UML element, nothing happens.
  Inspecting the workspace .log, you see the error:

  java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: TableCells can only be added
  to FlowTables

  Description of problem/Step to reproduce with Rational Software
  Architect v9.1 and 9.1.1
  
  1. Create a new UML model
  2. Add a new Component to the model
  3. Open an excel sheet where you have entered data.
  4. Select and copy a cell containing some text (you can use
  CTRL+C)
  5. Go to the component documentation tab
  6. Paste the content of the cell you copied in step 4 (you can
  use CTRL+V)
  
  Expected Result:
  The cell information is copied to the documentation of the
  component
  Actual Result:
  Nothing happens and you get the error
  'Java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: TableCells can only be
  added to FlowTables' thrown in the log.
  
  Local Fix:
  WORKAROUND:
  1- Choose to 'Paste as text' using the right click option of the
  documentation rich text documentation field.
  2. Copy the text of the cell from the Formula bar in excel
  before pasting it in the RSA rich text documentation field.
