PI30258: MYSQL BROKEN PIPE CAUSES CALENDAR SERVICE TO STOP

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the MySQL database encounters a broken pipe with its
    connection to UrbanCode Deploy, you will notice that the
    calendar service stops working. All deployments on the dashboard
    will show the
    "Scheduled" state and cannot be canceled. You will need to
    restart the server to restore the connection.
    
    You will see this issue only on MySQL and not
    on other database types.
    

Local fix

  • Restart the UCD server.
    
    
    This issue can be diagnosed by finding a similar error in the
    server's error log:
