Error description

  • In Rational Developer for System z (RDz) version 9.1, real time
    syntax check results in error for PL/I source containing REORDER
    in program entry and  INIT construct containing a multiply
    expression

Problem summary

  • The RDz PL/I parser can not handle REORDER entry/procedure
    options or expressions in INIT attribute repetition factors.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Modified the parser to support REORDER entry/procedure options
    and expressions in INIT attribute repetition factors.
    
    The problem listed in this APAR has been resolved with
    IBM Rational Developer for System z V9.1.1.1 Fix Pack which
    is available from the Recommended Fixes support download page:
