APAR status

Error description

• Reference Lists that contain values can be seen in a parents'
  query result set when expanding the parent records plus sign.
  For example the customer fields in the Defect query.
  If empty they do not show up except when the child record has a
  Unique Key composed of more than a single field.
  Expanding such a child record (empty list view) will cause
  following error in CQ Web 8.0.1.5:
  
  CRVSV0078E Error from RPC server: CRVSV0717E ' ' is illegal
  CTG:constant-value for field path
  
  After the error pops up, log out seems to be blocked and only
  succeeds after a few attempts.
  Closing the query tab works and allows further work in the same
  web session.
  
  The 8.0.1.5 RPC client correctly hides the empty list views from
  the parent query.

Problem conclusion

• A fix is available in ClearQuest 8.0.1.6.
  When using ClearQuest Web Tree View, you can now successfully
  expand a child record that has a unique key composed of more
  than a single field.
