Error description

  • Enable GROUPUR failed on initial start:

    CSQM507E +QPEA CSQMAMMS GROUPUR queue manager attribute was not
             enabled, CODE=2
    CSQM090E +QPEA CSQMAMMS FAILURE REASON CODE X'00D44004'

    Code 2 indicates that SYSTEM.QSG.UR.RESOLUTION.QUEUE doesn't
    exist but is does and is defined correctly. BUT this worked
    fine on subsequent restarts.

    The CSQM507E when trying to enable GROUPUR in CSQINP2. The
    CSQM507E is occurring as the processing of CSQINP2 commands
    takes place at the same time as the queue-manager is reading
    shared queue objects from DB2, leading to the error being
    issued if the queue object for SYSTEM.QSG.UR.RESOLUTION.QUEUE
    has not been read from DB2 by the time the ALTER QMGR command
    is processed.

    * in CSQINP2 fails on queue manager *

    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    CSQMCCGI tries to locate, via CSQMGETO,
    SYSTEM.QSG.UR.RESOLUTION.QUEUE but this fails. The customer has
    defined the queue but it cannot be found by CSQMGETO as there is
    no IVSA for the queue yet (CSQMGETO uses CSQIDGET/CSQILOC2 and
    CSQI_CREATE_SQ_IVSA is not specified). The reason that there is
    no IVSA yet is that CSQIFOBJ has not yet completed object
    reconciliation with DB2. CSQIFOBJ is invoked by CSQNERST after
    attaching the service task for processing CSQINP2, so the two
    processes run in parallel, but if the CSQIFOBJ process has not
    yet run then the ALTER QMGR GROUPUR(ENABLED) command fails with;
    CSQM507E +MQNT CSQMAMMS GROUPUR queue manager attribute was not
    enabled, CODE=2.

Problem conclusion

  • CSQMCCGI has been changed to call CSQMGETO with
    CSQI_CREATE_SQ_IVSA
