Error description

  • Users are getting blank screen in the search results when they
    try to view the second page of results.
    
    When grouping the results with 'Group Versions of Assets' the
    problem behavior occurs. If one selects 'View all Assets' the
    problem does not happen.  No error reported in the RAM debug log
    but the following is reported in the WAS SystemOut.log
    
    Caused by: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Not a valid hit
    number:154
    at org.apache.lucene.search.Hits.hitDoc(Hits.java:215)
    at org.apache.lucene.search.Hits.id(Hits.java:196)

Local fix

  • Select "View all Assets" when reviewing search results.
