APAR status

Error description

  • Issue in regarding CTE that it does not display any Static Text
    Box Property Sheet values. Tried making various updates to the
    Form in ClearQuest Designer but no matter what we do it will not
    display the Text typed in those fields in ClearTeam Explorer.
    The Static Text Box Property Sheet values appears correctly in
    all ClearQuest clients.
    
    > Steps to reproduce the issue:
    
    1. Create a new Schema Repository/connection Called UCM.
    
    2. Execute the setup to have this connection UCM integrated
    between ClearQuest and ClearCase.
    
    3. Login to the CQ Designer.
    
    4. Open the UCM Schema.
    
    5. In the Record Type "Defect" add a new TAB called "Test" for
    the Submit and Record form.
    
    6. In the "Test" TAB, add a "Static Text" form control and add a
    "Text Box" form control.
    
    7. Checkin and upgrade the User Database.
    
    8. Test in all ClearQuest clients (Eclipse, Windows and Web).
    When submitting a new Record, or when modifying an existing one,
    looking at the "Test" Tab we can see "Static Text" and "Text
    Box" form control.
    
    9. But, when using CTE (ClearTeam Explorer). When submitting a
    new Record, or when modifying an existing one, looking at the
    "Test" Tab we CAN NOT see the "Static Text". We CAN see the
    "Text Box" form control, ONLY.
    
    10. Re-started the ccrcprofile and cqwebprofile and the CTE
    application. But, the "Static Text" form control IS NOT
    appearing in CTE.

Problem conclusion

  • This issue has been fixed in ClearCase versions 8.0.0.16 and
    8.0.1.9
