PI24218: REMOVE "PRESERVE WHITESPACE" FROM XML COLUMN SPEC IN DB2 11 DSNTIAUL-GENERATED LOAD STATEMENT

Error description

• APAR PM86927 modified DSNTIAUL so that the LOAD spec for XML
  columns specifies XML PRESERVE WHITESPACE instead of CLOB.
  This APAR will further modify DSNTIAUL to remove the PRESERVE
  WHITESPACE clause.

  DSNTIAUL is a sample dynamic SQL processing application that is
  used primarily to unload data from DB2 tables to an externalized
  format.  DSNTIAUL also generates a LOAD control statement that
  can be used in conjunction with the DB2 LOAD utility to load the
  externalized data back into DB2.
  
  Currently, when XML data is unloaded and the LOBFILE option is
  not specified in the DSNTIAUL parameter list, data in XML
  columns is unloaded in record format, up to 32 KB per row, and
  the generated LOAD statement specifies 'XML PRESERVE WHITESPACE'
  in the field specification for each XML column.  However,
  PRESERVE WHITESPACE overrides the default behavior of LOAD,
  which is not to preserve whitespace.
  

Problem conclusion

• In response, this APAR modifies DSNTIAUL to specify 'XML'
  instead of 'XML PRESERVE WHITESPACE'.
