Error description
On z/OS ITCAM Agent for WebSphere 7.2 Data Collectors installed on zOS, there are Insufficient authority to write log files errors. Namely msg-dc-native.log and trace-dc-native.log. This is due to the QUALDIR value in dc.env.properties not being processed.
Local fix
The workaround will be to modify <ITCAM>/runtime/<server>/dc.java.properties file, namely the CCLOG_COMMON_DIR property in that file: 1. take a note of value of com.ibm.tivoli.itcam.toolkit.util.logging.qualDir property in the dc.java.properties file. 2. add "/<value of the property in item 1>" to the end of value of CCLOG_COMMON_DIR property in the same file. 3. restart the AppServer. NOTE: The changes need to be done in runtime dirs, that look like this: <ITCAM>/runtime/<server>/
