PI21535: AFTER PI12528 IS APPLIED, WMQ V7 - ABEND058 RC10 OR RC20 MAY OCCUR AFTER A SECONDARY

Error description

• ABENDS058 S058 RC10 or RC20 and/or ABENDS0C4 after PI12528 is
  applied:
  
  
  CSQMCFTK issues a SSAR for the broker address space, but never
  sets the secondary address space back (i.e. to the primary).
  If the broker address space ends in the meantime, the 058 abends
  seen here may occur.
  
  Abend 0C4 in CSQMCFTK during message broker restart can also be
  generated if subscription validation or publication evaluation
  requests are queued while message broker is down.

  *                      abend 058 in CSQVSRRX when a message    *
  *                      broker execution group is stopped       *
  *                      and/or abend 0C4 in CSQMCFTK when       *
  *                      message broker is restarted.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  When APAR PI12528 has been applied, two problems have been
  detected when a queue manager is connected to Message Broker
  (WMB/IIB) to provide subscriptions with content based filtering
  (CBF) and message broker is stopped and restarted:
  
  Abend 058 is generated in CSQVSRRX when a broker execution group
  is stopped. This abend is caused when the broker ASID is left
  set as secondary address space and the broker has terminated.
  
  Abend 0C4 is generated in CSQMCFTK when a broker execution group
  is started and there has been CBF Pub/Sub activity while the
  broker was unavailable. The queued requests for broker can be
  corrupted.
  

Problem conclusion

• Content based filtering MQ component has been changed to
  tolerate broker (WMB or IIB) threads terminating and
  reconnecting without generating abends.
