Error description

• When opening a Visual Studio.NET 2010 or Visual Studio.NET 2012
  solution or project, IBM Rational ClearCase 8.x and ClearCase
  8.0.1.x may automatically check out the solution and project
  files.  This may occur whether the solutions or projects are
  opened by double clicking or by first opening the Visual Studio
  IDE and then opening the solution or project using File > Open.
  
  The behavior has been observed when the solution has two or more
  projects, including a website project and a C# project.
  
  
  Workaround
  Cancel the checkouts or checkin in the files even though they
  are identical.
