APAR status

Error description

• In IBM Rational Software Architect (RSA), if you modify a BPMN
  diagram and then close it, the '[BPMN model name] has been
  modified.  Save changes?' dialog box appears, which is a
  misleading message.
  
  The following steps recreate the scenario:
  
  1. Create a BPMN model/diagram
  
  2. Add elements to the diagram
  
  3. Save the changes
  
  4. Add more elements to the diagram
  
  RESULT: The model is 'dirtied' (an asterisk appears on the model
  in the Project Explorer) to indicate unsaved changes, as
  expected.
  
  5. Close the diagram
  
  Expected Result: The '[BPMN model name] has been modified, but
  is still open elsewhere with identical changes. Closing this
  will not lose those changes. Would you like to save now anyway?'
  message appears. If you then click 'No', the changes are not
  discarded and reopening the diagram shows the asterisk, but
  clicking on 'No' on a 'Save' prompt when you close the model in
  the Project Explorer, does discard the changes. This is RSA's
  behavior in v8.5.x.
  
  Actual Result: The 'Save' prompt comes with '[BPMN model name]
  has been modified. Save Changes?' message.  This message is
  misleading because, if you then click 'No', the changes will not
  be discarded, even though you chose 'No' in order to discard the
  changes.
  
  The same problem occurs with UML models and Java classes as well
  as BPMN models.
  
  There is no workaround to this problem.
