PI20467: Shortcut namespace to reference shortcut to model query subject is not visible after linking to External Data

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Model utilizes namespace shortcuts to the business layer. Within
  the business layer, there is a reference shortcut to a model
  query subject. This query subject works and appears fine when on
  its own. However, when using External Data and linked, the model
  query subject disappears from the Metadata tree within Report
  Studio
  

Local fix

• Build report without External Data, then add in External data af
  terwards. The query items that were pulled from model will work,
   but no subsequent changes can be done
