Error description

• When reporting on a license server is started through the IBM
  Rational License Key Server (RLKS) Administration and Reporting
  Tool (ART), the agent appends a +DEBUGLOG option to any existing
  RLKS 'options' file.
  
  If the last line does not end in a newline character, the agent
  will append the +DEBUGLOG setting to the end of that line and
  not on a separate line. This will corrupt that entry in the
  option file and cause 2 issues:
  1) the log file that the agent is supposed to use may not
  actually get created
  2) Whatever option was set in the last line of the options fail
  may not correctly take effect. This can lead to various license
  checkout failures depending on the nature of the 'lost' entry.

  * appended to the end of the last line in the options file     *
  * instead of being added as a new line.                        *

Problem conclusion

• This issue has been fixed in RLKS Administration and Reporting
  Tool version 8.1.4.3.
