APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Installation and/or upgrade of T5 Agent causes the YN Agent Data
Collector configuration and/or re-configuration process to fail.

If using the GUI to configure it stops (freezes) at on the
WebSphere look-up panel and no error messages are generated. If
configuring using the command line the following error will be
generated:

Local fix

  • 1. Backup the <ITM_HOME>/bin/ dynarch.shl file
2. Remove reference to  kt5com.jar from the common class
path
 Alternatively, you could restore the script
 <ITM_HOME>/bin/dynarch.shl to the original state before the T5
 upgrade.

  • Clash between KYN and KT5 classes.
