Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An endless loop occurred in DSNUBCOP    *
  *                      while MODIFY RECOVERY utility was       *
  *                      running.                                *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available.         *
  ****************************************************************
  When MODIFY RECOVERY is running, an endless loop might occur.
  This problem occurred due to incorrect COMMIT handling logic.
  As MODIFY RECOVERY was running, position on SYSLGRNX was not
  maintained correctly after a COMMIT, causing the same rows to
  be read repeatedly.
  

Problem conclusion

• MODIFY RECOVERY utility code was changed to correctly maintain
  position on SYSLGRNX during COMMIT processing, thereby
  preventing the loop.
